Based in West Cork, I see clients via Zoom so I can guide and support them all over the planet both in English and in French.
I will work with you to get to the root cause of your health concerns and compile a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan to help you regain energy and vitality.
I am a fully insured Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist. I endeavour to keep abreast with the ever-evolving research in nutrition, health and food geography.
Naturopathic Nutrition aims to improve longevity and prevent illness through functional food and lifestyle.
What to Expect from a nutritional consultation
Before your initial consultation, I will ask you to complete a health questionnaire as well as a three-day food diary to return to me before our appointment. During this consultation I will take a detailed case history that includes all your current health concerns, family and medical history, symptoms in every system of the body, lifestyle and physical activity, as well as an in-depth diet analysis. I will then send you a written nutritional plan with tailored diet and lifestyle recommendations. I will provide you with sample breakfast, lunch and dinner menus as well as recipes for inspiration. Depending on the severity of symptoms I may also suggest some testing to be carried out by your GP or privately.
I encourage clients to work with me for a minimum of 3 months. This is the average time it takes the brain to implement a new habit. This will allow yourself the time to make new habits part of your daily routine. It will also give us time to get to the root cause of your health concern and introduce new eating patterns. Follow-up sessions will allow us to review your progress and adjust accordingly.
What is personalised nutrition?
Personalised nutrition involves customising dietary recommendations to meet the unique needs of individuals. This can be based on a variety of factors, including lifestyle factors, and environmental exposures. Together, we will focus on restoring health by discovering underlying causes of imbalance rather than looking at the presenting symptoms in isolation. Education is at the heart of my nutrition practice – teaching & coaching you on how diet and lifestyle choices can have a huge impact on physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing. It is essential to create long-term sustainable eating pattens using organic fresh, whole foods.
PERSONALISED Programmes endeavour to support you at different stages of your journey towards optimal health and wellbeing. I will provide you with valuable support and guidance, highlighting the significance of plant-based nutrition on your energy and vitality.
The brain requires a minimum of 3 months to implement change and recognise new patterns. It is essential to be consistent in order to develop an automatic response to new behaviour.
My one-off option provides a preview of how health issues can be supported by nutrition.
My 3-month programme aims to encourage a positive change in mindset, and provides an overview of a healthy lifestyle.
My 6-month package is perfect for anybody wanting to implement good nutrition and lifestyle habits.
